Do you weld stainless steel?

We can weld stainless steel with our MIG or Stick Electrode Welder. The high cost of stainless (usually 5x the price of regular carbon steel) keeps us from stocking pieces in meaningful quantities. Call or stop in if large quantities of stainless are required.

Do you weld cast iron?

Yes, we have the capabilities to weld cast iron, but the chemical properties of cast iron make it difficult to weld. Cast iron pieces which have been cyclically heated or loaded such as engine blocks, registers and register covers, manifolds, or grates often cannot be welded. Additionally, the cost to weld cast iron is often three times as expensive as a similar part in steel.
